FEATURING

/ Luzy King

Luzy King is an award-winning Latina Wealth Coach. She became a first-gen investor after learning about investing and wealth building by accident through her MBA program in 2019. During the same year, Luzy was denied access to financial advice because she didn’t have $100K to start investing, and she made a commitment to learn things on her own and become the first one in her family to start investing. Now, she is passionate about teaching women of color all of the strategies she wishes someone would have taught her in school. Luzy is a certified trauma-informed Financial & Business Coach, contributing author, and Community Leader. Luzy is on a mission to destigmatize the idea of wanting more money, more money, and more options. She is ready to teach women of color how to build a legacy through stock market investing and entrepreneurship.

In today’s episode, we’re delving into the fascinating realm of money energy. I’ve been working behind the scenes with my clients on this, and it’s high time we discuss it openly. Understanding your money energy is crucial, and I’ll be sharing insights into the five distinct types I’ve observed among my clients.

Why Money Energy Matters:

On this podcast, our mission is to equip you with tools for creating a beautiful life encompassing freedom, time, and financial independence. Your journey to financial freedom starts with comprehending your money energy.

The Five Money Energy Types:

  1. Money Avoidant: Unaware of financial details, lacks clarity, and often ties self-worth to financial status.
  2. Money Goer: Desires a rich appearance, struggles with spending boundaries, and maybe a people pleaser.
  3. House Manager: Smart and independent but struggles to share financial control in a partnership, often leading to financial strain.
  4. Wealth Avoidant: Ambitious but self-sabotages due to fear of appearing money-hungry or outgrowing family expectations.
  5. Super Saver: Masters the skill of saving but may over-save due to inherited beliefs about financial safety.

What Steps You Need To Take Based On Your Money Energy Type

Now that you’ve identified your money energy type let’s take actionable steps for a transformative financial journey.

  • Money Avoidant: Get clear on your financial situation, create a plan to pay off debts, and embrace financial awareness.
  • Money Goer: Define your values to curb impulsive spending and attract meaningful connections.
  • House Manager: Allow your partner to be an equal in the partnership, fostering growth and shared financial responsibility.
  • Wealth Avoidant: Own your desire for more wealth, challenge self-sabotage, and embrace your evolving journey.
  • Super Saver: Release pressure associated with savings, consider high-yield savings accounts, and understand that safety comes from you, not just your savings.

My Personal Journey:
I’ve walked in these shoes—once a money-avoidant, money-goer, and wealth-avoidant. Transformations are possible with the right mindset and commitment to change. It’s a journey, not an overnight success.
